Patient reviews at Spyglass Dermatology
Exceptional facial with Renee at the med spa in Tequesta! She took the time to listen to my concerns and made excellent suggestions to address my skincare needs. The spa area was comfortable and treatment was a pampering experience. Superior product availability that allowed me to continue to care for my skin at home. Great esthetician with a wealth of knowledge and experience. Highly recommend.
“Out, damn spot!” I wasn’t at a theatrical performance of MacBeth. I was at Spyglass Dermatology in Tequesta. It was about a month ago when a caught a glimpse of an unfamiliar spot on my back. It was new. And dark. Perhaps I sat in chocolate? No. This spot was not rubbing off. It was time for a full body scan. I checked providers through my insurance, got rid of all the men, and surveyed who was left. Spyglass Dermatology was right up the road. I made an appointment. Check in was quick and easy. Susan brought me into a room and briefed me on what was to come. Moments later Kimberly Cray entered and with a reassuring smile, got down to business. She was thorough and addressed all concerns. Even some spots I should have asked about but didn’t, confirming there were no problems except for the spot that brought me in. With a quick but gentle touch, she numbed me and cut that spot right off. She explained next steps and then advised follow up care. Susan even sent me home with samples! The bedside manner of both of these medical professionals is exceptional. There were no surprises and not once did they scare the hell out of me. And I felt heard. They listened, looked me in the eye when we spoke, and were easy going while still maintaining the utmost professionalism. Highly recommend Spyglass Dermatology, Kimberly Cray, and Susan.
I really wanted to like this office since I live in Tequesta and it would’ve been convenient. I actually liked the doctor on my first visit but my experience with the front office was horrendous thereafter! They cancelled my next appointments twice in a row. The first cancellation was the afternoon before my appointment, leaving me a voicemail stating they had to cancel my 8AM appointment. When I called back, the woman told me “the doctor just doesn’t come in that early anymore”. Obviously if the doctor doesn’t come in that early anymore, they would’ve known prior to the afternoon before my 8AM appointment. I was hesitant to reschedule but I did. When they text me to confirm my next appointment, I clicked on the confirmation link and it said my appointment was cancelled. I tried calling them a few times about this and no one answered. Finally, someone called me back and said “the doctor does surgery today. I don’t know why they would’ve made you an appointment.” She then told me someone was fired and sorry for the mixups. They definitely need to work on their organization and staffing issues. It just made for a really bad experience.
